Default My intercooler pump was disconnected

I recently went on a long rally from Chicago to Amarillo Tx along rt 66. I was checking out the car today to make sure everything was in one piece after the trip. I looked under the front and the connector for the intercooler pump was just hanging there with the connector cracked apart. I was able to get it back on and secure it with some zip ties but I have no idea how long it was like this. I remember hitting a big pothole in TX that bottomed the car out so I'm suspecting that was it. So in other words I probably put about 1500 miles on the car without the pump being connected. I didnt really get into boost more then a few times during that period. Do you think this will cause any problems? The car seems to be running fine but that really scared the crap out of me.

Nope, unless the air inlet temps got too high to cause detonation.
Thats what the cooler is there for, to cool the incomming air charge.
The pump just moves the heat transfer liquid from the blower to the
radiator. If you didnt get on it much then you will be fine unless you
got the deadly detonation.
Define getting into the boost only a few times.
Was this at various racetracks along the way.
Did you do a few WOT dyno pulls?
Or just passing semis on the open road?

Cool thanks didnt notice any detonation but it was a prime concern even with the pump working since they only have 90 octane fuel in TX. I was running a 91 octane tune. I got into boost just doing a few high speed sprints down the highway. Just going through 2nd getting a little into 4th gear.

if the temps get too hot or the PCM notices something is not right, won't the tune pull timing?? Thats what my kit does in the sign of trouble. Pulls timing and I get zippo for power..

To a point.

You should be fine. Make sure when you get a new harness you make it more difficult for road debris or potholes to take you out.
