well said, retired Navy Here, loved my 2010 GT got good on the hwy, matter fact 27 MPG going through you town from NC, always take that route to Michigan, but I have a 50 mile round trip combo highway, city and the GT was doing well at 19, I have never really been a power junkie, I have often said when Like chevys if I could get a Vette with a 4 banger in it I would, just cuz looked hot, now after 14 months of racing around, I traded got the looks, the lower insurance, and 5 days driving now I'm averaging 27.1 and that's fine by me, I found that I traded more for the fact I never got pulled in the GT and had too much burn out and highway racing under my belt, I'm loving the 6.

Yes the new ones are great looking and full of power and fuel econo is great.
Just remember while we as a country was on point protecting everyone our top engineers worked on defense projects and not cousumer products all the other countrys while enjoying our protection did not have to their brain trust working on defense yet used them in the car industry so we did lack in allot of areas. BUT WE ARE BACK IN THE RACE
Bottom line it's GT's owners like me and it's my fault wanted to stay with the thread title lol.

check this out, my wife and i were on are way to exhaust shop and a little honda civic pulled up next to her in her little 2.0 VW jetta wolfsberg eddition turbo charged who was trying to race her. What happened next made me proud to be married to that woman, she punched it and she was gone. So i crused up next to them and pointed and laughed. Then I smoked them, Yes it is a four banger but its German got to love there cars.

sweet, wonder that was same civic run up to my bumper saurday and he had some power but he was struggling about 2 car lenghts back, i was not letting up with 500 miles on her i did not want to push too much but wife was yelling at me cuz her head kept snapping as i went between 2nd, 3rd and 4th lol
