Exclamation octane tune difference?

hey guys i just got 4.10s and wow what a difference. I am currently running a 93 octane tune from diablo tuner and was wondering what you guys like the most. I feel with the 93 octane tune is that its not smooth shifting and kinda pings. With the 91 i noticed the shifting is alot smoother. Just wondering what you guys like to run. It a manual by the way. Thankss

I don't see how the tune affects shifting on a manual transmission. If it's detonating then you need to call the tuner and have them adjust it or you can adjust it your self manually through the hand held.

Are you sure you're getting good gas? Have you ran a couple of 93 tanks through?

Take out 2 degrees of timing in the hand held in the RPM range when the detonation begins.

When I had 93 available on 2 of my previous cars (07 auto cai/tune, 09 manual supercharged)... I found that the 91 octane tunes felt better and more powerful on both cars in all cases with both Bama and Brenspeed.

Just get a custom tune. From what I've heard, canned tunes are not that great.
