Cool Opened up my armrest console found something weird..

Was putting some Dynomat in there after I installed my short throw and had some vibration.
I opened it up and found some bunched wires with a plastic harness
at the end like the ones that connect to your brake lights.

It was not connected to anything.
What in the world is this for?

I have a 2006 and there is no hole in the console for lighting.
I was thinking about taping this thing down just in case it is causing some rattle if it is moving around but I'd like to know just what it is there for lol.

+1. You can tape it down to eliminate the noise, no problems.
