Try this to help diagnose the code...

if it is the Camshaft position sensor (CMP),
Stuck open EGR valve, or Blocked EGR passages, what exactly do they do?

Is this going to call for my tune being messed with?
Also how much would I be looking at as far as cost if one of these
things were the problem?

I'm crapping my pants right now.

That manual seems to be a bit too general.
I was just told that our cars dont even have EGR.

It's in the shop now anyway so I'll just find out
what it is tomorrow.

I was running my race tune on the street and after a while my car threw the P0300 code. After clearing the code several times, it kept coming back. I changed back to my street tune and it went away. My car appeared to have been running rich with the race tune which I think fouled my plugs enough to cause the misfire. Just changing the tune fixed the problem for me.

Yep, they have to to pass the emissions...
Or it makes it easier...

Well I was told by someone we don't.
Also if you go to the fordparts.com site there are no
EGR valves under the 2006 Mustang GT.
Says no parts found for the selected criteria

No one else with any input on this?
On another note.

They are trying to get the car to replicate the problem.
Given it is a random missfire they want to find out which cylinder it is so they are wanting it
to actually do it while the car is there.

It has not so far.
But again they are a dealership so they can't start and stop the car all the time or drive it all
the time with other cars they have to take care of.
Tomorrow morning if it does not do it for them I am going to take the car and drive it alot and try to
get the car to do it... and take it directly back to them.

I was wondering though....
What should I ask them to absolutely check even if they can't get the car to tell them which cylinder is doing it? I guess I should ask them to pull all the plugs and check them? what else?
