About 1 year late responding, but yes, that is tail of the dragon in Western NC/tenn. I go up there twice a year to visit the folks and terrorize the local hillbillies.

Well since this thread is back from the dead, screw SPEC. Made noise from day 1, customer service was atrocious, performed well for 3 or 4 trips to the track, then started slipping like hell. I barely got the car back on the trailer the last day I took that clutch to the track. The moral of the story? Get a McLeod twin disc and never look back.

I think you all ready said that. I've seen people report the RST failed at the track and recommend the RXT if you do a lot of track trips.

I'm getting a spec 3+ since I all ready have their flywheel. I have 20k on the stage 2 and it feels tired.

I can't speak for the RST, but I beat my RXT like it owes me money and it just keeps coming back for more. I'm glad your spec has worked for you. For me, the clutch itself was only 10% of why I won't go back to spec. Being treated like I'm an idiot by their "customer service" for daring to call and ask a couple of questions about their product is what turned me off to them forever.
