Question Clearance

I have a steeda strut tower brace (among other things) and I'm thinking about getting the C&L Intake manifold to compliment a set of FRPP Hot rod cams. The C&L manifold looks like it sits higher in the bay than the stock manifold. Has anyone installed it with a strut tower brace? I know there were fitment issues with some of the engine covers that were out there.

Thanks

I have the Steeda STB and did have the C&L intake. The CAI is way forward in the engine compartment of where the strut tower brace is, so no issues at all.

You should be okay. Just like Silver said, there is absolutely no way that your tower brace will interfere with the CAI kit, ever.

The only time I can think of the tower brace interfering with the intake is if you go with some sort of forced induction: namely lobed rotor (including screws) superchargers. Some turbocharger systems could interfere, it totally depends on how they are plumbed inside your engine bay.

I appreciate the responses guys, but I think there is some confusion. I have the CAI already, I am wondering about the Manifold, not the intake, as I said:

That guy.

Thanks

I have no idea, but I believe it does sit higher, and I'd fear you will have issues...subscribed
