Default Venturesheild Car Bra

I am going to be getting a Ventureshield car bra for my GT. I know I want one and I know who I am going to have install it.

My question is how much of the front end of the car should I have covered. The standard kit includes covering front bumper, front 10" of hood and fenders, and the side mirrors. The price I was quoted was $595, about what I was thinking.

Then the installer threw me for a loop. He asked how I use the car, and said it was my "fun" nice weather car that would make 2 or 3 trips to the road course a year. He suggested that I get a complete wrap of my front end, above the windsheild, and the rockers and behind the wheels. This package is what he has done for several Porshe owners who track their car. The price $1250. and he will prep the car before to get the paint perfect no swirls or scratches before he applies the ventureshield.

anyone with the clear bra regret not getting the entire front wrapped? do you think that it is worth it for a mustang? I just have the base GT, If i had a shelby or a boss it would not be a question i would do it. I am planning on keeping this car for a long time.

Thanks for your input I keep changing my mind.

It is up to you how much usage damage is acceptable.

The nice cars are fully wrapped.

The standard-cut protects the first 10".

That means the front of the car will be pristine and the sandblasting from operating on the New England beaches / roads starts 10" back.

If the vehicle has already been delivered / operated, then damage has already happened.

I had a clear bra installed on my 2010 at the dealer before I drove off the lot. It's pretty much as you described for $595. That was in October 2009. Worth every penny. Most people do not notice it, but it does absorb nicks, especially along the leading edge of the hood.

As for the deluxe treatment, I would not go that far. My car is a DD including New England winters and the standard treatment does the job.

If I were to buy a new car, no doubt, I would do the same as I did for this one.

IMHO
