I believe thats a 12 hour road trip for ya if you ever decided to get them done there. They have a damn nice shop with everything you could want while you wait. Internet tv and all that stuff.
If anyone lives that close to Brenspeed, it would be idiotic for them to go to anyone else. Price does not matter.

The final chapter in my drama - since the dealer had done the last faulty install of my 3.73's I decided to give them one more shot. They agreed to fix it on their dime under parts warranty. They kept it overnight then called the next afternoon to say it was ready and running quiet.

I picked it up, and sure enough no whine from the rear! Yahoo! Until I realized they replaced the 3.73's with 3.31 (stock) gears...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Can't believe they swapped back to 3:31 without telling you about it beforehand.

I hope it wasn't one of those "I wonder if I should remind them I have 3.73 gears" but then you felt too silly to mention it... sorry about your troubles, let us know what you decide to do!

Nope - confirmed 3.73 when I took it in, then again in a phone conversation. I am mystified, but at least I have quiet gears...

How did you determine they were 3.31 they put back in?

Mine is an auto and as I drove away the shift points were a little funky. I settled in at 50 mph on the speedo and compared it to my GPS which showed my real speed as about 45 mph. I pulled over and adjusted the rear axle ratio on the tune to 3.31 and presto! gps and speedo agreed.
