Gear Drama / Please Read

It was around 700 I believe for labor and parts. I know its a bit more expensive but I wanted them done right BMR. And yes 125 miles from them and nothing. My parenst live about 5 miles from them so when i go up there I hang out with family. Brenspeed is the only shop I have takin my car too and everything has been done in a professional manner. I believe thats a 12 hour road trip for ya if you ever decided to get them done there. They have a damn nice shop with everything you could want while you wait. Internet tv and all that stuff.

The final chapter in my drama - since the dealer had done the last faulty install of my 3.73's I decided to give them one more shot. They agreed to fix it on their dime under parts warranty. They kept it overnight then called the next afternoon to say it was ready and running quiet.
I picked it up, and sure enough no whine from the rear! Yahoo! Until I realized they replaced the 3.73's with 3.31 (stock) gears...
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Nope - confirmed 3.73 when I took it in, then again in a phone conversation. I am mystified, but at least I have quiet gears...

Mine is an auto and as I drove away the shift points were a little funky. I settled in at 50 mph on the speedo and compared it to my GPS which showed my real speed as about 45 mph. I pulled over and adjusted the rear axle ratio on the tune to 3.31 and presto! gps and speedo agreed.
