i would definitely pass on that one for a better deal. I dont like buying used cars over 20k miles... depending on the thrashing the prev driver inflicted 25k-40k seems to be a time when things break. if u got 27k to blow I've got a car for you! =)

If your patient you will find a great car. I found my 2006 GT in 09, only 16k miles for $16k.

if your driving 3 hours away for a stang with rust, drive to va beach and buy my mint 07 with alittle over 10k mi. its a 1st place mca national show winner, perfect score. garage kept under a cover and never in rain. $22k and its yours.

2009 was a great time to buy a used car. 2011 is NOT a great time to buy a used car. i would wait several months or perhaps even to next year. The economics of the used car market are not in your favor right now.

Theoretically, yes. Right now supply sucks on new cars...especially new Mustangs so dealers are holding prices up on new and used stock. Also, no new stock means that customers aren't able to trade in used cars. Supply should gradually improve between now and the end of the year. If you can hold off until winter, that would be desirable because cars like the Mustang aren't popular winter cars like 4x4's and SUV's. You will be able to get a better deal on your Mustang that time of year.

Just picked up my 08 for $20k with 36k on it 3 months ago at a carmax in IL. Kind of spur of the moment, but it's been great and I'm very happy. I could've gotten a better deal, but this one had all the options I wanted and the ones for less skipped on that. I would've been fine with that, but this one just worked out.

In other words, keep looking if you're not in a rush. If you like the options and everything checks out well, go for it and enjoy!! Miles really don't matter as much as they feel after you get the car and everything's fine

I agree to take your time and keep looking. It took me about 2-3 weeks of serious looking and this past Oct picked up an 06 GT with 18K mile for 21,000 on ebay. Garage kept with over 10,000 worth of parts. Kenne Bell SC, 20" rims, Hurst short throw and Corsa cat back X pipe.

Oh and you will notice all the "ahem" ugly colors and red interiors go for cheaper!

I am going to throw another shout out for CARMAX. I got my 2005 GT premium manual convertible 18,000 mi for about $18,000. The car had silver Le Mans stripes painted on and it had a Roush body kit with the extra fog lights and button mounted inside!!!!!!

I know it’s hard but be patient man the deals are out there!!!
