I had the same issue with mine--vibes would start at about 80 MPH. I rotated it 90 degrees at the transmission end and it got rid of the vibes. No problem on the track up to 130MPH now.

I have the Shaftmasters driveshaft. I had a slight vibration, and spent many hours adjusting the pinion angle to get it to go away. You can definitely tell the difference in performance with it!

Default Update

I sent the DS back to David, he checked it and it was within specs. He wants to make this right with me so he is sending me another one with the slip section at the rear of the shaft. I am gonna order an adjustable UCA so when we check the pinion if we have to adjust it we can.
I am excited to get this mod on my car. I loved how tight the driveline felt when it was in there. Many people have stated how awesome Shaftmasters customer service is, well I can now say it is too. David is going the extra mile to make this work for me. I am stoked.

I want to see how this goes. First time I heard a problem with a Shaftmaster shaft...

I don't see how you can say the shaft is good if you put one on and it vibrates, one on and it doesn't, other one back on and it vibrates again.... clearly you got something going on with that one. Like others have said, unless you got something wrong with your install or something.

The only thing I don't understand. IF the shaft was out of balance, it would shake at speed, weather you were on the gas or not. Like an out of balance tire. You however said clearly, when you get off the gas. Now that I think about that, I think your issue is probably with your pinion flange on your rear end. Either bad angle or something wrong there. You didn't happen to loosen your pinion flange did ya?

I have no issues with my shaftmaster at all! It has also been shortened!

David said the shaft was balanced so that shaft was not the problem. I never did check the pinion angle because he told me it wasnt needed being the stock height. Not only am I gonna check the pinion angle this time, I am also gonna install an adjustable UCA just in case, and take off the diff cover inspect the gears and swap out that fluid. I had a pro mechanic friend of mine with 30 years of experience doing the install with me so I know our install was perfect each time.

I did not loosen my pinion flange. I do have aftermarket LCA's so they may have contributed to my pinion possibly being out of whack....IDK just guessing.

Check your transmission mount for looseness just in case.
The factory 2 piece will absorb any small defects (you have an extra joint) as the one piece wouldn't.

We actually did when we installed the DS loop. We even checked the suspension bolts where we added the LCA's last month.
