Default Plasma booster ignition

What are people's thoughts on the plasma booster ignition?

http://rpmoutlet.com/05gtplazma.htm

It states 12/12 hp/tq w/o reflash.

Should I? Is there a drawback to it, other than $$$ vs. stock?

A few guys have found about 2-3 hp but each run on the dyno can be different by a couple hp so thats up in the air. The folks who get the ignition say its good for a more efficient/safer burn which is good for the car in the long run. I havn't heard of anyone getting 10hp or more from these though. Not worth the $ IMO.

yeah, i bought that thing a long time ago...it is cool to say that you have but in reality, it only comes into play when you start doing major modifications on your car, ie. new cam, supercharger, etc...i noticed no difference in performance but supposedly it makes it easier on your engine having that good spark curve and no misfires.

I agree with MAC's post. It looks good on the show sign and under the hood. Now that I am running NOS I am sure it helps somehow but I really dont know.
