I think you'd be much happier with a blower. Those Hellion systems have been known to have some fitment issues. On another forum there is an epic thread over nightmares with his Hellion system and a vendor. Do what you want. But I'm just forwarding info about Hellion that I've learned. That Whipple will be an easy install. I would definitely go for it.

Are you installing it yourself? Are you having a custom dyno tune? How are you going to use the car?

Whipple will definately be an easier install. If you're paying someone to do it, it shouldn't make much difference.

If you are going to use the canned tune from Lethal, the Whipple is going to be a safer bet. Tunning a turbo car can be a little trickier than S/C car. I wouldn't trust a canned tune on a turbo car. If you are getting a custom dyno tune, talk to your tuner before purchasing. If he is comfortable tuning the turbo, that would be my choice. If he has tuned 100 Whipple/KB/Roush/Edlebrock PD blowers and 1 turbo, I would go with the Whipple.

How you drive the car makes a difference to. Whipple = instant response and flat, even torque. Fun for stoplight to stoplight driving. You will KNOW there is something extra under the hood at all engine speeds. Turbo will take a little spool up, but the top end can get wildly exciting. It's a totally different feeling than a blower because there isn't really such a thing as partial boost. It's all or nothing and it hits hard. Great for track days. You won't even know it's there for everyday driving. Efficiency is debateable, but I think a turbo car is going to be more efficient for daily driving.

The Helion is a great kit and extremely efficient. That said, I've always found when upgrading FI that superchargers are easier to tune and less buggy than turbos, but I'm sure there are others who believe the exact opposite. I vote Whipple.
