Upgrading 09 Brakes to GT500 Brakes...
Have a friend with a 2009 GT with a whipple supercharger. He wants to do the big brake upgrade kit. I looked on american muscle for him and told him how much the different kits were there and he was surprised to say the least.
I've found a pile of GT500 take off parts from a supersnake conversion and am just curious if those Brembo Calipers will even fit his car. I've read some about them not fitting the GT's due to spoke clearance. He has aftermarket 20" wheels on his car and I'm trying to find out if clearance is an issue before I try and set up a deal for him on these parts.

The GT500 calipers will bolt right up to the GT (I have a set on mine). The only issue would be with wheel fitment. I would find out the brand and model of his wheels and check with the manufacture on fitment.

I would forgo the GT500 Brembo stuff
and go with the 2012 GT 13.4" brake rotors and caliper mounting brackets.
For less than $125 you have a killer set-up that will bolt right in.
Roush sells the stuff on the eBay.
