Shaker Pro Audio System Issues
Hey everyone! I have a question about the Shaker Pro Audio system. I just recently purchased a 2013 Mustang GT Premium with the Shaker Pro system in it. It was an awesome system, while it worked. Not too long ago I noticed my bass didn't sound as deep. Didn't really think much of it, thought perhaps it was due to having my windows open, or song quality, etc. However, the other day I happened to have my trunk open with music on and realized that there was nothing coming from the subwoofer installed in the trunk. I pulled the grill off the enclosure and noticed that woofer wasn't moving...obviously not getting power or a signal. Any thoughts on what this might be caused by? I'm sure the setup is similar to the popular Shaker 1000 system. The car is scheduled to go in to the dealer this Friday to have them check it out - it should be covered by warranty. But I always like to try and fix things before taking it to the dealer, especially if it's a simple fix I just overlooked. I've already checked the fuse for the sub - fuse it good. Also, I noticed unlike the Shaker 1000's, the '13 with the Pro doesn't seem to have a option to turn Shaker "on" or "off?" Am I missing something here?

There is actually an option to turn on and off the sub. I personally don't have that system in my car but I was helping my friend do some upgrades on his and there was an option. I believe it was "shaker on" or "shaker off" something along those lines. Hope this helps, have you looked in the owners manual yet under the audio section?

Thanks. Yes, I've looked in the manual and I couldn't find anything on how to turn it on and off. My brother has an 05 with the Shaker 1000 and his has the option to turn on and off thru the menu, but my 13 with the Shaker Pro system doesn't seem to have it that. Unless it's somewhere else and I'm just missing it. I'll look again today.
