I won a used TCI Ratchet Shifter a few days ago on Ebay and I am eagerly awaiting it's arrival...I was looking at pics of the shifter on the net and was wondering if anyone Leather wrapped the shifter, release handle, or both? I am seriously considering dropping the unit off at a leather shop prior to the install...TCI Shifter owners please give me some feedback if you think this would be a good or bad idea..Thanxs in advance....

It already has a nice leather boot. Not sure what you want to cover. I love mine just the way it is. I always have my right hand resting on the shifter.......its the perfect height.

No not the boot itself, but the actual handle (****) itself and the top of the release handle....I've had leather wrapped shifter ***** in the past and I like them..
