After I upgrade all the internals, would it still be pretty pointless to changed the cams?

No, then the cams will be worth the cost, as you will be able to use the extra power.

I think the point of the cams is that it would be pointless to install N/A cams and then have to change them again when you go forced induction.

Others have stated that it doesn't appear to be a complete kit, but something else definately gets my attention.....

"The exhaust manifolds are available seperately..."

$749 doesn't seem too bad. I have a complete STS twin kit taking up space in the basement just waiting for the time and funds to have it re-installed as a custom underhood setup. The manifolds are probably the most difficult part to fabricate. Being able to just purchase the manifolds like that would make the custom fabrication a much simpler job.

OP just for your information, I had to call Jim yesterday to ask him about something on my setup and I asked him about the TT kit. He said the web site hadn't been upgraded and the kit will work on any 05-10 4.6L.

Ok, that's what I thought you meant about the cams, I just wanted to make sure. I appreciate you guys answering my questions and making the recommendations you have.

And thanks for checking on that for me, Earl. I should have some pretty fat bonuses floating my way soon, so I'm definitely excited to get this project going.

If you decide to go with TurboHorsepower tell Jim I sent you and he will do you right.

Another question though, what kind of manifolds/headers can be used with turbo systems? I was under the impression that there was a special kind manifold used, but after looking around, I see people using the bone-stock ones a lot.

It depends on if you using a single or twin kit. Most single kits are designed to use the stock exhaust manifolds, or shorty headers, to keep cost down. Twin kits usually use custom made headers to the front because the stock manifolds will have clearance issues turned forward but some kits are designed to mount under the car and use the stock manifolds also.
