Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 mustang with an active factory alarm system and a Viper 5904v car alarm installed, but i ran into some troubles.

I connected:
OEM alarm arm cable with Anti-theft inhibit switch, Set
and
OEM alarm disarm cable with Anti-theft inhibit switch, disarm

to arm and disarm the factory alarm system, but ...

the Problem is that everything is working except the motion sensor in the overhead console. <- Do I have to explicit activate the sensor in any way ?

For example, if I locked the car with the factory fob the motion sensor is working and can set off the alarm but with my viper remote it isn't activated.
