Default did Eibach screw me or not

I just got the Eibach pro kit (shocks, spring, struts, front and rear sway bars). I didnt get new bump stops that go on top of the rear axle. I'm wondering if the stock bump stops are to tall since the car is lowered. Which would cause my phantom bump sound i hear sometimes.

thanks for all the help

Matt

Read the instructions, but I think you are still suppose to cut your bumpstops.

The drop isn't entirely immense, you could probably get by with trimming, or - if you feel like sourcing it - get new bump stops...

Otherwise - welcome to the squeeks, bumps, groans, and shakes of changing a daily-tuned-suspension into a sport-tuned-suspension... With performance comes the removal of the creature comforts lol

I believe Eibach only includes the shortened rear axle bumpstops with their Sportline springs only.

My Steeda Sports i ran didn't come bumpstops either. You can trim the oe's down a bit or order the ones from Eibach Sportline kit. You can order the bumpstops at Jegs, Summit, etc. i believe. It's been awhile but i think i got mine from Summit.

That said,if after installing the new springs and your not hitting the stops all that often then you might just leave the stops stock.
