Default Shifter Question

I installed the Hurst Billet Competition shifter in my 08. The directions say to remove the 2 metal sleeves from the front arm and instal them inside the front poly bushing on the Hurst. Problem is the stock shifter only had 1 metal sleeve. I'm trying to find out for sure that i'm suppose to have 2 and if so find a part number so i can order one from ford. I have searched for the parts diagram but all i can find is for older models and not my model. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got any pictures to give a better idea? Doesn't sound familiar to my MGW install but I know they are somewhat different. Trying to understand what metal sleeves you mean.

Edit: Oh, I think I know what you're talking about and if I'm right we didn't reuse that in the MGW. Let me open my box with my stock shifter in it.

Edit 2: Just a single metal sleeve on mine as well. I'll let someone with a Hurst tell you for sure but it looks like you're fine with the single to me.

Yeah, there isn't any look of something missing. That sleeve is just giving you a place to bolt down and not squeeze the poly bushing and it looks like that single piece would do that sufficiently. Make sure you use loctite on that bolt too.
