Bought a 08 Bullitt used and having to fix all the previous issues. It has the shaker1000 already in it, but the previous owner but a cheap pioneer single din in and took the shaker hrad unit out. Needless to say it sounds like ****. I bought a shaker1000 head unit and just got done installing it.

Now my issue is that the radio powers on and screens/lights work, however I get NO sound playing at all. What might be the issue?

Did some searching and read about reprogramming and doing self test on radio. Did the self test and fails for programming, and not ecu. If it does have to be reprogrammed since the isn't factory head unit for this car, is this something I can do myself?
