Default Best On Line Dealer For Brake Parts?

Looking for a little help in finding the best place to buy new front rotors and pads for my 2012 Brembo GT.

I remember Shelby in Las Vegas selling new take off rotors and pads, but I can't send them an e-mail, as their site seems a bit messed up. Is that a good place to buy some rotors and pads at a good price?

Is there some after-market rotors and pads that are as good, if not better, than the stock stuff? I'm familiar with Hawk products, and I'll be heading to their site after I post this, but the rotors are just killing me price-wise.

Any thoughts/observations/ideas are appreciated. I'm not looking for cheap stuff, but geeeeeeze the factory rotors and pads are expensive.

Wow!!! The Hawk web-site is terrible!!!

I couldn't tell it I had a Brembo car, and there is no way to discern which of their pads fit my car. Nothing anywhere mentions the Brembo package, nothing tells me which pads fit my car.

Well, I sent them an e-mail. Hopefully they can get back to me with some good info.

O.k.......I went to site-sponsor CJ Pony Parts, and they have Raybestos rotors for Brembo cars (Gawd, I gotta stop driving this car like I stole it!) for a really good price.

Anyone have any clue if these would be comparable to the MotorCraft stock rotors? Would the metallurgy and quality be there? I'm thinking of those rotors and some Hawk HP pads, because the stock brakes never had enough initial bite for my liking.

O.k., I called Raybestos, and I was assured that their rotors are as good as the factory Motorcraft Brembo rotors. My new question is, does Brembo actually make the rotors for the Brembo cars, or are they just Brembo branded?

Ooooo.k......just hanging out with myself here, answering my own questions.

So, I'm ready to order the Raybestos rotors and Hawk HPS pads for my car. Unless someone has a better suggestion? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I also called Shelby, and while they do sell their take-off rotors and pads, they don't have any in-stock for my car right now.

How about the Hawk ceramic pads? Are they worth a few extra bucks? Better initial bite?

We also offer a stock style replacement rotor. Not sure what your budget is, but if you're not looking to break the bank, you could run a set of these.

Or if you want to spend a little more for a slotted set of rotors, this kit is probably one of our best selling kits.
