This Mustang GT Can Do 212 Miles Per Hour - by the End of a (Texas) Mile



If you told me your Mustang can do 212.9 mph, I'd be impressed. If you told me your Mustang can hit that speed in 5,280 feet, I'd involuntarily spit out whatever I'd happen to be drinking at the time. Don't worry - I know a good dry cleaning place.

I saw one do 216 in the mile this year, and i dont think it had odd aero on the front

 

Was it a mustang GT or GT500? I think the idea is that this is so far the fastest 5.0 coyote in the standing mile, GT500's 5.4L/5.8L have done over 220.
With enough power, the odd aero isn't needed. The aero mods look a lot like the creations-n-chrome mustang that broke through 180 in the mile a few years back, even had the side-mirror delete.
