This is my first try at posting a question so let me know if I did it wrong.

I just bought an 06 GT convertible. The Power door locks are driving me crazy, here is what it does.

1.) When you push the driver's side unlock button on the inside of the door, it unlocks both doors and pops the trunk. I know it should not open the trunk.

2.) You can unlock the drivers door with the key or remote and when you pull the handle to open the door, it locks the door.

I have taken all the door and trunk panels off thinking the previous owner had messed with the wiring, but all of it looks factory with no extra wires.

if the door locks when u pull the handle, something is for sure wrong with that latch and/or the control linkage. as for the trunk opening, that sounds like an electrical issue, very hard to diag on a forum
