Mag times for the GT are 4.9 to 60 for a manual and 5.1 to 60 for an auto from motor trend. Mag times don't mean anything usually anyway.

ok i just want a say on this. my buddy has a manual 04 gto ls1. when we were both stock from a stop i would take him everytime, now from a roll he would get me everytime. then all i did was put a o/r x pipe and it was over . he would only take me in top end, 100 plus which i car less about. now for the 05 400 hp, i beleive the gto since its australian has a horrible drive train percent loss. from what i understand the 04 at 350 are only putting down between 250 and 260 at the wheel. but the are eception cars, those cars that put down more. i also hear that the 05 400hp are only putting down 330 at the wheel, now they are geared low, 327 i belives and we have 355. the 04 stock we should get, the 05 would take a few mods. ive driven them and their throttle response sucks and they dont feel as mean as a stang. the 04 who care, the 05 if you were stock would probably be death for you, oh yea and i was at the dyno today getting retuned, i have afe c.a.i. and o/r/x pipe with stock muffs and i pulled 300 flat hp and 314 trq, im very happy right now, 2 mods, i have buddys with 05 and they didnt dyno that high, so hopefully ill find a 05 gto tonight and tell you all the verdict

I have yet to see one run because they don't have any 04 or 05 GTOs in Canada [&o]

My buddy has a '05 GTO M6. He put down 341whp and 337 wtq bone stock. He has 3.46s in his manual. The auto has the same gear. The LS1 GTOs usually put down 270 to 290.

I wish we had them in Canada cause I'm running in the 12's and I'd love to get a piece of one.

I have no problem with the GTO other than the fact they're calling it a GTO.

It doesn't have the looks our S197's have but there isn't one on every street corner either.

on my mustang dyno, an 05 GTO put down 320 hp and 326 torque. 05 GTO is lil quicker. Hate to say it, but it will bust an 05/06 GT's @ss. But the 04 model you should take. I have raced each models and beat them when i was in the mach. best time i have seen an 05 goat run was a 13.34. MY mach stock ran high 12's , and in 1/8 mile pulled a 7.82 .
