i have the predator n i have updated the programming on it yet it doesnt read the vehicle type cant figure this out any help
would be appreciated.........

If I'm understanding this correctly the answer is you will need a different tune for your V-8. I know there are different tunes just for the automatic and manual v-8s.

If you ordered the tuner for your v6, than your gonna have to buy a new one for your GT. Each tuner is setup with different things for different cars. Try and sell the one for the v6 in the "for sale" section on here, I'm sure someone needs one.

but according to the diablosports website it works on many different cars i just have to d/l that version from there website in which i have already done all u need a the proper cables to connect to ur home computer but it still doesnt work on my car

You can use it on your GT but only after you had restored the V6 to the stock tune. What happens is the tuner tags itself to the vehicle so that you cant use it on everyone elses car. So untill you put the stock tune back on that V6 and unlock the tuner you wont be able to use it. Also you will need a 05+ GT specific tune.

Congrats on the GT!! Call Diablo Sport tech line or e-mail them is your best solution. A couple problems I can think of though would be did you put your V6 back to factory before downloading? Do you have a U7140 or something else for a specific V6 intake? Also the 05GT tunes won't work on the 06's. Don't know if you need a new tuner or a different download for that.
