ive had the flows with o/r hpype for about 4k miles now, and from the back left side i hear what to me sounds like metal rubbing against metal or something in the muffler itself flapping around. i hear it when the car idles or certain rpms when driving usually when its the more deeper tones of the exhaust is when i hear it. anyways what i was wondering, are flows just hollow inside, or could something have broken inside it and be flapping around or something? ive put it up on a lift and listened and im almost positive its comming from inside it..

That's sound familiar! I had the same basic thing that you are describing with my magnaflows. What it was is that the hanger rod was against the steel part of the hanger assebly where the rod slides into the rubber grommet. I bent it back for clearance and problem solved. May be worth a look.
