Default R.I.P. Carroll Shelby

We all know just how much Carroll Shelby did for the whole automotive industry and that his heart lied with the Ford Mustang. I just watched a documentary of this mans great life. From race at driver to up and coming performance and industry changing designs, the man was and will always be a legend. His answer to the engineers was always " needs more hp" and this is the reason why mustangs have stayed on top. May he rest in peace.

I never knew he had passed away. He was an awesome guy, and all performance enthusiasts owe him a thank you for his contributions and innovations pertaining to going fast.

My housemate actually hosted for Carroll when she was a kid and he stayed the night at her familys house. Her father was a professional racer and raced shelby's among other cars, and knew Carroll from racing. I know I will continue to honor the shelby namesake by continuing to modify my mustang with the same spirit and enthusiasm he did. Legends don't ever die.
