Default H vs X vs Pro chamber

Trying to figure out which to get on my mach 1, i had a flo tech h pipe on my 95 gt and didnt have very many complaints about it other then it being really cheap, so was thinkin about getting another h pipe for my mach, but see alot of yall with X's and ive heard alot of ppl comlaining about the pops you get when you let off the pedal with the x's and a friend of mine has a mac pro chamber on his 04 GT and he loves it, so just trying to figure out which yall think is best both for hp and sound. BTW all of these im lookin at are off road w/o cats.

I don't know about the Pro-Chamber since I've never had one, but I can vouch for the torque gains from an X-Pipe. H-pipes are good too, but IMO are more for sound. Any off-road pipe is going to produce gains especially with a good tune. I'm pretty sure the popping is a result of any high flowing exhaust system although some are worse than others.

Its all personal preference. I personally like the X pipe sound over the H and also like the high end hp X pipes produce...the low end torque and deep rumble of the H pipes is nice as well though. I had a prochamber on my old mach and really liked it (felt like it picked up a lot of power) but it was too quiet for my likes with just a magnaflow catback lol.

I ordered a UPR O/R X-pipe today. Do ya'll know if you need o2 extensions with these?

extensions no, simulators yes unless you can turn them off with a tuner.

If you don't like the popping sound, then you should probably stay away from X pipes. Generally, they give they raspy and exotic sound you hear.

I think you'll like an H pipe or Prochamber. They sound very similar.

I gotthe UPR o/r/xinstalled. It came with rear o2 extensions. No needforextensions withprimary sensors. Anyway, it sounds good, and helped me in the quarter mile. I don't have any popping (X-pipe is mated to a FM cat-back). I can feel the X-pipe in the higher RPMs more than anything.
