my exhaust questions
ok, im looking at the mac prochamber o/r H is it any good?
this is going to be my first mod, i will be a little slower on mods due to the baby and all, any suggestions on if its good or is there better, i still ahave stock everything down to the exhaust.
im looking on summit, and they're pretty good on price, does it matter the form of H or anythign like that?

RE: my exhaust questions
Not sure about the prochamber, I just installed a MAC H over the weekend. I love the sound of it. Be careful if you do it yourself because I managed to cross-thread the header studs and had to pay a shop to replace them.
I would get on Streetfire and youtube and listen to the different combinations of exhaust.

RE: my exhaust questions
Few things:
I have weld-in flowmasters - Previous owner
I have this one I bought for $50 used with 200 miles on it, looked brand new: Mac H
This one you can take off the exhaust pipes and the H will fit long tubes - I plan on doing that within the next year
I can't imagine that the prochamber would warrant the extra 100 bucks as far as HP/TQ
If you get one of these, you wont pass emissions and will need to get a tuner or MIL eliminators

RE: my exhaust questions
i dont have emission laws in my state.
i think i agree with you on the 100 after looking at it. i can get an intake spacer to go with it then, is it a dicret bolt in? ill have to have the sotker muffs for a while.

RE: my exhaust questions
I had an O/R prochamber on my GT and I have an O/R H on my mach. The o/r H is definately a better way to go. The prochamber was too quiet and muffled sounding.
If you plan on getting a non chambered muffler/catback later on I'd get an x pipe though.
