Default Interior light issue

This has happened a few times over the past few weeks. I will park my car and click the lock twice, and the car honks twice. So I make sure that all the doors are shut and the lights are off. When I get back in the car, the interior light is on, not the reading lights. I once again make sure all the doors are shut. I then make sure all of the external lights are functioning. I fiddle with it for a few more minutes and finally the interior light goes off.

This happened a few weeks ago, but it stayed on for about 30 minutes. I went inside, Googled it, and came back out. I turned my headlights on then off and finally the interior light went off. I know in some cars if you push the brake and your emergency brake light comes on, it means you have a tail light out.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a warning that something is on the verge of failing?
