Meeehhh, I wish I could.. [&o] I'm still in the butthole of the planet, I mean Iraq.. [&:] I'd rather wait till I get the suspension a little more tweaked though before I go doing that though.. lol I've always wanted to take it to bonnevile just to see what it'll do..

And supposedly 3:55's don't run out of gear till a little past 210-ish.. I don't know how accurate that is though.

True, the cd doesn't help, but regardless, on ANY car, it takes roughly twice the HP to make it from 100-200, that it did to take that same car from 0-100.. I mean look at NASCAR's vehicles. Without restrictor plates they'd probably be good for about 240 or so on a long enough stretch of road. I'd venture to say that mine would probably make it to 200, provided I had an M-6 tranny, and my build were finished. As is, probably not so much.. I'd end up going boom probably around 170-ish or so..

The fastest I have been in mine is 130, this was after the speed limiter was turned off with my hand held tuner, there was still more it would go but that was as far as i took it.

If I remember right the SPEED LIMITERS for the stock Mach is 126 mph for the A4 and 151mph for the M5. and I also seem to remember that the 3:55's would go just past 200mph if you had enough HP to over come the CD. But who has 3:55's anymore??? (I kid I kid)

Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah brudda. That's where they do all of the land speed records run. You can run private vehicles out there, but you have to have certain safety features installed before they'll let you run the vehicle. It's a ten mile course, though for the different classes they mark off different lengths. But the rule is, you make your run, and then you have to make a return run, in the same vehicle, with no mechanical changes to the vehicles, within one hour after the first run, in order for it to be an official run out there.

I think I do have the horsepower to hit 200 on the 3:55's, I just haven't gotten all my parts installed yet. The forged rods / rings are still in the boxes at home, and I'm still working on the rest of it, but I'd bet once I get it all done, with a set of race tires and lowered a couple inches, that I could run around 200 in it.. Though if I put all that work into it to do that, I wouldn't be able to do anything else with it most likely..
