I put a K & N CAI on mine and the car stalls when i take it out of gear, when driving, after going above approx. 1,200 RPM's. The car won't stall if i leave it in gear when coming to a stop and the RPM's drop below 1,000 before I take it out of gear. I read in a previous post that other people were having the same issues and they put the original MAF screen back in behind the filter but before the sensor and that seemed to solve the issue. I haven't tried it but I'm willing to try. Maybe this will help you.

hmmmmm now im wondering that maybe thats why that pre-filter cloth shroud was around the filter.. cause the original screen is gone and like i said i just got the car... should i try and put the pre filter back on? clean of course... it just seems not much air is going through that cloth... weird cause ive never seen a pre-filter prior to the mach.. i guess its worth a shot... i personal think if im at the track ill get better times without the pre filter and maybe DD with it? hmmm

I think Houghtown is right about the MAF screen. Give that a shot and it will probably straighten things out for you.

Ford should have one or you might be able to manufacture one out of some wire mesh if you feel like being creative because that is really all it is. I don't exactly know how it keeps the stall from happening, maybe something to do with the cutdown of air rushing into the sensor. Good luck though.

hmmm im gonna have to go with the mach... i love it.. ya cant beat the torque in the thing.. like dont get me wrong.. the 07 is great but it doesnt have the low end torque that im used to (ie 5.0s) and the mach has it... i raced my buddy in the 07 that has a stock mach and he pulls from me... im gonna have to say the mach.. o and i dont care for the variable cam timing to much... i want full power constantly.. not all of a sudden at like almost 3 grand.. just my 2 cents.. i own both so i can bash both i guess lol

Yeah, I test drove an '08 before deciding on my Mach 1 and I was really disappointed with the low end torque. The car doesn't start to pull at all until about 3000 RPM. Mach 1 ftw.
