Default Do I need a new clutch????????

I have a 03 Mach 1, 52K miles. When I shift it hesitate before it goes into gear. Now every gear pulls like it should and it doesn't slip at high RPM's. Someone told me I should have the shifter look at. Also I called a ford dealership I go to and they told me to try changing my fuel filter. Now I owned this car for a year and the shifter never really has felt quite this rugged. For you people who own one I can't break the tires loose from 1st to 2nd any more yet again each gear pulls. I just dont know

might need to be a little more descriptive, but if you're shifting good and hard with street tires and they won't break loose then a clutch would be a possible problem.

yea sounds like a clutch the not being able to break the tires loose anymore (assuming you didnt change tires) could be because your clutch isnt gripping as hard
