Default What to do with stock wheels?

Now that I have new rims, the stockers are just sitting around. There's someone thats interested in buying them for about $350, should I sell them?

I did the same thing you did. I bought some 17x9 bullitts and sold my stockers for $350. I kind of wish I would have waited I think I could have got another 50 bucks or so. The only thing that I might regret is if I ever want to go back to stock for a trade in or something like that. Right now i'm happy with my decision. I'll have to change my sig pic when I get her all cherried up.

Wow! I saved alot of the stock parts off my car, and my stock wheels with the Goodyear Eagles still mounted to them, are sitting in boxes in my basement. If there's people out there willing to fork over $350-400 bucks for them, I might consider letting them go!

I put mine on craigslist and sold them in 2 days. I can't figure out how in the hell to delete the post so I have guys all the time asking about them. I've had about 20 people email me and ask if I still have them. That's why I wish I would have held out for 400. Oh well lesson learned

ok then, I'm letting them go. It would also help because I can use the extra space.

I tihnk it'd be cool to buy some stockers, paint the inserts black, and then have the rears widened to 10"

I'd start the price off higher personally. I was thinking about getting rid of the stock ones so I put a feeler ad on craigslist to see what I could get for them. I put a price of $800 obo (with new $600 tires having just been put on though) and got 2 emails that day.

Well when I went throught the clasifieds on other forum, $400 sounded reasonable with used tires, one of my rims has some curb rash so I posted it for $350 firm.
