Default Need some input...

My DD Buick needs a lot of work to pass inspection.

I was going to look at a Miata as a DD/Auto X car but I don't think that I can get a loan on it while I have the other cars.

I basically have 3 choices.

1. Daily drive the my Mach when Spring starts and save up for a replacement DD by next winter.

2. Spend the money on the Buick and just do what I do now.

3. Get an all year round vehicle to replace the Mach...

It isn't that I can't drive the Mach year round or in rain but I don't want feel like ruining a mint condition vehicle.

I am not really worried about it holding up to be honest. It only has about 14k miles. I just don't want to ruin a car that is in show condition right now.

It has seen rain maybe twice but I don't drive it in the rain because the undercarriage gets dirty.

Either option 1 or 2. I DD my mach1 when I had it, even in chicago winters (I don't do that with the cobra) but my mach still looked in show room condition even after driving it in the winter. Just wash/wax/claybar it after it rains.

Winter is out of the question for me. I can't handle the salt. I don't care about just the body but the undercarriage has to be immaculate for me.

True. I didn't treat my mach as good as I do my cobra lol. At the time I didn't have money for a DD like I do now. I would say get that buick running thoe.

IMO keep your car and either fix up the buick or use it as down payment on a used escort or focus, I think you would regret selling that car.
