Default PCV valve

So I've noticed Most Mach's have a tube going from the valve cover to the Intake tube, mine has a small K&N filter there instead, will this hurt anything? does anyone know where i can get another stock piece to go there, i dont really like the filter

Actually, your PCV valve is on the driver's side, and is routed directly to the intake manifold. The passenger side is basically a pressure vent, and crankcase vapors, and maybe some oil blowby, get re-routed back into the intake tract to get re-burned, instead of getting dumped into the atmosphere.

The setup you're describing is usually used by people with superchargers who don't want the oil blowby getting sucked up into their blowers! It won't hurt anything, it's just not politically/environmentally correct.

Over time, your intake and throttle body with get grimey from the intake tube, but it doesn't really hurt anything either way.

If you delete the PCV system the computer needs to know about it, otherwise you fuel mass calculations will be off. Do you know if the car's tune has been modified?
