Lately, within the last week, my car has been feeling a little sluggish, and smells bad. It smells like it is running really really rich is my guess??? My friend was driving behind me when I punched it and he said it smelt "skunkish"??? Any idea whats going on? Hopefully changing plugs today, if my Dad feels like helping me. I also bought a JLT CAI that Im going to try and install and with that I have a new tune. I hope the tune and the plugs will fix the problem...

*** I have never seen blue smoke on start-up before but it had some blue smoke on start-up, then some white smoke. The whistle is my intake(Accufab twin 60 mm TB... Got the JLT in hope of fixing that) My brother let the clutch out, thats why it almost died lol. Just changed oil 300 miles ago(6 qts royal purple as usual) and fuel filter. ***

Hey buddy, just posted on your other thread about the JLT. get this figured out? I live up in Federal Way, where are you located, i can help ya out.

Edit: Oil pressure looks good in the pic btw. may want to check your upper O2's its the first set before the cats "if you have them" that determine the A/F ration. one could be bad. had a tune on that thing? also could be a MAF problem as well.

 

Since I ordered the JLT I got a free tune from BAMA and it made things better even without the intake installed. The exhaust doesnt smell as sour anymore either. Still pisses me off that I have blue smoke coming out of my exhaust, wtf! I dont even come close to abusing my car... I live on South Hill in Puyallup and my SCT reads codes like "o2 sensor stuck lean" and " catalyst is not up to effiecency" every once in a while.
