I got a couple questions for those who have installed a JLT CAI on their mach 1. 1) How do you get more wire from your MAF in order to get it into the fender well. 2) How did you remove the fender splash shield, I know its probly easy but I dont want to mess anything up lol. Thanks.

 

I did it on my 2001 GT, wasn't too hard. get some towels and take your time, its really easy to scratch the JLT paint. i believe i cut open the harness a bit to allow more slack on the wiring for the MAF. as for the splash shield, i probably did it the hard way, i didnt remove it at all, i stuck my hand up from the bottom of the front bumper and got my hand in there. I am sure there are easier ways.

 

Haha ok, well my Dad and I will try it out tomorrow. You just cut up the plastic wire cover that the maf wires go down into?
