Man that'll really set your car off matching the roof. I don't personally think composite hoods are worth the $ for weight reduction, but buying it for the good looks alone makes the drop in weight a bonus. They'll probably fly right off the shelves when Trufiber makes them available.

Whats the weight reduction on these? Im still hightly paranoid of CF hoods, I remember when they first became popular you would see so many cars at the hangouts on the side of the road without a hood or with it smashed onto the windshield.

I'm not sure about the weight reduction and I know how you feel about the hood flying up without pins. I remember actually 2 guys in the focus group I would roll with had that happen. They were very cheap and poorly made. I know for a fact that there are plenty of people rolling around with trufiber hoods fiberglass and carbon fiber that aren't using hood pins and have had zero issues. I myself won't be using pins either. The hoods are made for daily driving in mind and built with a stronger quality then most. I can't wait to get mine. As soon as its on I will be taken LOOOTTTSSSS of pictures

Not to be a downer, but what's the point? Our hoods are already fiberglass so I wouldn't see the weight reduction worth the $$.
