Ah, yea I recognize that intake now. I like it a lot, but its pricey. You should keep an eye on the classified section on tbssowners.com. There's new stuff popping up for sale over there daily.

I will keep an eye on it. I like the fact that I was able to get black to keep the stock look from a distance. I also like the plexiglass on the box, looks neat IMO.

Ok here it goes.. I'll give you the veggies first...

Dislikes: GM put a weaka$$ 4l70e behind a 5000lb SUV with an ls2, doesn't take very much to break it to pieces. Hate that they added a front oil pickup tube so owners have seen drops in oil pressure during hard launches. Sucks that i have to fork out money in order to have a nice electric fan.

Likes: love the sleeper factor of the truck. I like that it doesn't have the dull feeling some other refined SUVs have. I like that for only $40 this thing sounds wicked. GM put a 14 bolt rear end on it, which means that little to no work it's needed. I like that I got 19mpg in my recent 500 mile trip and that was with me and 3 other adults, my daughter and enough luggage for 7 days.

Overall I'm very happy with the truck. There are design flaws with the truck but I'm not too worried about it since I'm not planning on pushing the truck to it's limits. It likely won't see much racing but I will add a tranny cooler to deal with the south Florida temps and better tranny servos to try and extend the life of the tranny. As far as the oil pressure concern, I don't see it much of an issue, im adding an extra 1/2 quart of oil during oil changes just to be cautious and might add an interceptor gauge to monitor it. I'm planning on a tune and e-fans, this should get me near 350whp and get me an extra 2-3mpg. If you're planning on an SUV, this one should be at the top of your list of ones to look at.

We had an 06 tb ss for two years and loved it the only things we had to get fixed was the upper vents stop working, both front wheel bearings, and the onstar box was defective and draining the battery but the truck was a blast and the wife wanted to trade it 9 months ago and she regrets getting rid of it til this day I never wanted to get rid of it. And it ran 14.4 @96.7 back to back with two subs in the trunk the one night I took it to the track and that was leaving from idle. Nice truck hold onto it.

Was your awd? Hopefully if the weather is good this Friday I'll go to my local 1/8mile track. I went like 3 weeks ago but it was rained out before they even opened. I'm HOPING for a 9.3 or so and I'll be happy.

Sure as **** does, haven't found out the exact number but I think the 2wd's curb weight is slightly over 4500. That's crazy!
