Default Spark plug gap issue.

So I have a supercharged Mach and ever since I changed the plugs it hasn’t been running right. For instance it doesn’t rip like it was before. The guy I bought the car from told me to gap the plugs at 028 my question is what If it still doesn’t run right at that gap what do I do next open up the gap more??

did you replace the plugs that were in it with the same brand and part number? If not, get the same brand and part number that was in there already. OEM plugs won't work well in a FI vehicle. OEM plugs run too hot and can cause the timing to be pulled way back due to heat soak and improper spark due to the wrong gap being set.

It had the NGK tr6 plugs in it. I don’t understand why it’s not running right at 028 so could it be that one of the coil packs went bad?
