Just ordered a set myself yesterday. Decided if I'm tearing the front down to do the shocks/struts, spending money getting it aligned, etc, might as well have fresh ball joints in there too.

94-95 were 5.0s, 96-98 was 4.6 NPI

I don't have plans of taking it to the track (yet) so I'll probably look into the tune sometime this summer and just worry about saving cash for new paint.

They were nice pieces. Only pain in the *** part is to take out the bolt where the A arm pivots you need to move the steering rack forward. Just 2 bolts, easy right?

WRONG

The bolts are a pain to get to, and you only have like 10 degrees of ratchet movement to loosen them. That was the biggest pain.

No wobbles on the highway, but the steering wheel is of about 5 degrees so I'll have to take it in this week to get the alignment.

On my way home from work from Burlington on 95 I saw a red "undercover" mustang police car that had pulled someone over. It appeared to be the 05 body style. . Just beware if u happen to see it....

Interesting... The State Police used to run an undercover New Edge car between Framingham and 495 on the Pike a lot. First S197 I recall hearing about around here.

Hey Torch sorry to bother but would you happen to also know which connector might fit into the back side of the clock spring? So I can go from there to the radio?

As a matter of fact, I do. The clockspring accepts the same connectors (MOTORCRAFT WPT-440) on both the steering wheel and column sides.
