Default My Bullitt Build Thread

Well, not so much a build as much as just a transformation, it's going to get put on the track soon enough, but it'll have to wait until the events open up a little more!

Anyway . . .some pics, so far just switched out some cosmetic stuff that she needed desperately, Cobra headlights, Green XENON headlamps, smoked centermount stop light, that's about it.

Before:

And here's the stuff I took off! MAN, it's bad for only 7 short years of life!!! Damn Ford products!! LOL!!

Kinda looks like it's making a mean face doesn't it?!?!

Anyhow . . . .on we go!

After:

After the sun goes away, I'll post up pictures of the clear corners and headlamps!

Not much to yield power, simply because I march to the beat of the SCCA/NASA so she's being built to dial in oversteer into grip driving and for drifting at regional and national events, so her focus will be handling.

That said, free flowing exhaust and a superchips or diablo tune is in order, Koni Yellows, strut bracing (triangulated of course), sub-frame connectors, IRS from the Cobra and replace all the heavy stuff with lightweight stuff (hood, trunk) since she'll be a daily driver as well, I won't go too far, but when I'm done she should be able to corner with my Miata on a road course and stay within 2 turns of the Miata on an autocross. I can forsee doing this with under 5,000 invested total.

Sorry, not feeling the third brake light. Headlights look good. Not sure about the green bulbs though. [&:] Next mod should be a full detail.
Are you a member over at IMBOC (http://www.imboc.com/forums)? Don't recall seeing that username over there. If not, you should definitely join up.
