So i have a 2001 Cobra I ordered smoked black out tail lights for it, also my rear bumper has "Cobra" in black. Me and my buddy were thinkin bout takin the silver SVT badge on the back as well as the cobras on the side of the cars and paintin them glossy black. We figure that since the car is yellow the black would stand out.

it will be good to try, but you will have to post pics when you done it so we can comment on that. Give it a try just to see.

Just don't put too much paint on the emblem, it may fill in some of the details of it. And if this project doesn't turn out right, you can always buy more badges!

Yea you got a point there. We ended up just re painting the black letters and the chrome SVT badge black. Were lettin it dry right now but we left the snakes on the side Chrome cause i think it would be to hard to get in there in those cuts and sand it and paint it so if yall can show me a place where i can order black ones i would be more than happy. Thanks.

Yellow and black is a good combo, I would have done the same thing with your car.

Well i got the job done today ill get pics sometime this week. It looks great. For future refrence for anyone who wants to do it, im sure most ppl know this but im a idiot, do not get adhesive glue for the job make sure you get the tape. I ended up makin a mess on my car and it ripped of the paint on some of the metal letters and i had to go back and repaint them again and then go back and clean up the car again. Also the tape sticks 10 times better than the glue. So a 2 hour project ended up to be a day and a half project. But thats how we learn right?...lol Yea, right.
