Oh and in case anybody is curious, these cars hold their value. The insurance payout was $1,500 greater than what we originally financed in 2006. But this may also be due to the 07 only having 31k miles on it. Other than a new car note, it worked out pretty well.
Thanks to all, the new design is really growing on me. I preferred the 05-09 to the 2010, but we're diggin it so far.

What's quite nice is getting to move from a deluxe to a premium, in fact this one was on the showroom floor, it felt kinda cool. The extra moolah is helping to get a tune and the Corsa system back on immediately, rather than having to space it out.

i think hes referring to the engine in this case.. the old 4.6 engine is still in since the 05s till present. he doesnt wanna be a guinea pig on the new 5.0 engine. i can see where hes commin from. i will be taking my first step into the world of Mustang hopefully this upcomming week. im looking at an 2010GT Kona blue.. i thinik ill pop in down to the dealer and get a brochure

BTW, the comment I highlighted in bold confuses me... you say you're skeptical of the first year run or a complete redesign, well the 2010 is a complete redesign, yet you bought it.

The "new" 5.0L isnt really new, its new to being a production engine but Ford has been running the design for for several years in the Koni challenge series. The "Cammer" crate engine which has been available for a while and the new Coyote are basically the same engine.

congrats on the new 2010, good to hear that you walked out of the 2007 crash. You definitley smashed that stang up.
I like the 2010s they are slick but I'm prob gonna wait for the 2011 5.0L, or the GT500. Havent made up my mind just yet.
