My girlfriend and I will be traveling from Fort Wayne, IN to Phoenix, AZ and we will be staying in Springfield, MO our first night but I want a good BBQ joint to stop and get lunch at, probably in St. Louis or around there..Something thats close to the highway and not in the heart of St. Louis would be great

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, I thought the regional section would be the best place for it..

Check out Pappy's Smokehouse. IMO they have the best BBQ in STL.
