4.0 to 3.7 swap...(?)
Just because its a six speed doesn't mean the engine will not bolt up to the transmission. You need to check the bolt patterns. However, they are two different transmission made by two different companies.
down size, better read the articles out there in the new V6, it produces 95 more hp than the 4.0 due to the design....not my opinion, here's the write up, and fact I drove a '10 gt for last 15 months, after having my '11 6 banger for 2 months, the '10 gt does not impress me as it did when first got, ain't a whole big power differ. so I never doubt the 6's anymore.

For what you would end up paying to swap out the entire drivetrain from 4.0 to 3.7 you might as well drop in a FRPP carte engine that will bolt right up to your tranny. Probably cost less money.
