Default swap?

hey guys in thinking of taking my 2009 V6 and amping it up to a high horsepower, high speed muscle car. if I'm buying parts from Americanmuscle.com would i use the gt parts? is there a difference between the v6 and gt bodies for attachment points and what not?

Lots of variables here, You need to let us know some more specifics and you will get a lot more answers in the 2005-2013 section.

Just be a lot more specific. There are some really helpful people on here and some real butts to so dont get discouraged

well I'm thinking of taking the stock suspension and putting in a Qa1 Pro touring single adjustable system in (supposed to be universal for mustang), i just put one on a 67' chevelle and the ride rivals that of an audi A8. the engine i was thinking of going with is a street performance boss 302 or = 427 completely dressed with a march serpentine belt system. probably upgrade to big brakes and larger wheels, and some misc. safety things not the inside.

Here comes..what-what, in the butt-butt..

https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-0l...gine-swap.html

And there is Tanner's own a in this very section:
https://mustangforums.com/forum/moto...-4-6-swap.html

Search button above, click advanced search. "v8 swap" with the 4.0L subsection of the 2005-2013 section selected. Most of the detailed information is over at the mustangcollective.com. Going beyond the 4.6L 8v swap will add to those costs and powertrain upgrade/replacement plans considerably.
