Thumbs up engine swap upgrade

ok here it goes I have a 1995 mustang base coupe with a 3.8 v6 with an automatic that was recently rebuilt and now its a junkyard stroker 4.2 I have just acquired a wrecked 2001 mustang gt with 4.6 v8 with a 5 speed I am wanting to take the engine and tranny and the rear end from the 2001 and put it in the 1995 I would like to keep the auto trans but I am not sure if I will have to replace the wire harness for it I realize I have to replace the engine harness and fuel systems I am just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers and maybe a list of options I will have I may just go with the 5 speed not quite sure yet everything on the 2001 is in operating condition as the car starts and drives its just wrecked so bad I cant afford the body work bill any input on this up coming project would be appreciated

Only thing I can think of off hand is that, as far as I know the Auto trans off the 3.8 will not bolt onto the 4.6. So thats gonna be the biggest thing.

Next thing is gonna be wiring. I think they may make a harness for the install. But I am not sure.

Sorry I am not to much help. I am good with the mechanical side. wiring side is my downfall. lol.

If it doesn't plug in directly set it up as an independent system, splicing into the chassis and dash harness for power, instruments, and outputs such as the fuel pump and radiator fans. If you want an auto you'll need that harness and computer for the auto as well. The manual computer will have some idle issues. Also PLEASE use some punctuation in your post! It makes it hard to read and you typically get more responses if it doesn't look like a high schooler's ranting blog, no offense intended.
